Michael...

• Ric begins to play games. If Michael dies during surgery he will tell the big secret but if Michael lives he'll leave it alone. When Michael lives cuz we all know he will, Ric may tell Sonny that he may be the father of Claudia's baby.
  
• Patrick might end of being the one to do the surgery on Michael. Matt worries that Patrick is taking to much of a risk and helps him. Liz will also be in the operating room. Michael almost doesn't make it but he pulls through.
  
• Tense moments in the hospital room.

• Maxie and Spinelli are on a stakeout and they start to make out in order not to get caught. Once the threat is over Spinelli continues to be cold towards her.

• Quote from DD "Jason unloads just about everything on his mind. He talks about not telling Sonny that he believes Claudia was in on the shooting, Carly's high risk pregnancy- the fact that she could die, not telling Carly about Jerry and Claudia's involvement, etc. If you like Jasam, the scenes are good because Sam reminds Jason that keeping secrets has not worked out well for him in the past- they also talk about how they waited to try to have a baby so that they wouldn't end up in the situation Carly is in with Sam's life at risk. • "The search for an actor to fill the role of Dante (Sonny and Olivia's son) has begun anew. The character is described as charming, flirtateous, and arrogant. He is a loner who comes with plenty of complications. In the audition script one of those complications is said to include regret over sleeping with someone close to Sonny, someone he has been paid to guard, someone he has grown to care for... Not always, but quite often the scenes that appear in the audition script do eventually play out in some form in the storyline. Sometimes the names of the characters in the audition script are changed in a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters in case the script gets out. In the past I have seen both the name of the character being auditioned for changed, and/or the names of the characters they play against changed in scenes from audition scripts. I do have a copy of the Dante audition script so I know which female character he is playing against in the scene. I will tell you this much...it is an older woman." Remember the rumors of Carly falling for her guard, could Dante sleep with Carly?

Her pregnancy lasts 6 months.

• Winnifred gives Maxie a piece of her mind. Spinelli refuses to get close to Maxie again, despite her attempts. Maxie turns to Johnny again, when her efforts fail.

Slaudia... Sonny finds out Carly is pregnant and once again states he doesn't want anymroe kids. Claudia works real hard to convince Jason she is innocent. Sonny tells Claudia she can stay. Jax stops Sonny from revealing the truth about Michael's shooting.

According to Soap Opera Digest, GH will do a public service announcement for Post Partum Depression.

"Millions of women's lives can be saved by ending the fear and isolation of sufferers and offering access to treatment resources," said Birdie Gunyon Meyer, RN, MA, president, PSI in a statement. "We are grateful to ABC Daytime following up with a public service announcement and helping to raise awareness of what is truly the most common complication of childbirth."

Kimberly McCullough's PSA will air Thursday, April 16th.

Slaudia... Sonny receives a DVD in the mail. Someone tampers with the evidence before Sonny sees it. Jerry tells Claudia she may of escaped this time, but she'll never know when the next DVD will drop.

The Hospital... GH should be opening next week.

Jerry... Sebastian Roche doesn't get killed off, Jerry comes to town to ensure that Claudia doesn't get away with murder. Jerry targets Ric and Claudia. GH Spent 3 Million to Go Hi-Def for Sweeps?

According to Broadcast and Cable GH is spening 3 million to go Hi-Def in time for Sweeps. Heres what they have to say:

"General Hospital, which has aired more than 11,500 episodes in its 46 years, is the second ABC Daytime show to go HD after talker The View, which made the move in September 2006. ABC has spent $3 million upgrading GH's Los Angeles studio and control room to HD, which included renting a temporary control room setup from January to March to keep the show in production while its permanent home was retrofitted.

Besides going to higher resolution, the GH set also has a new look, part of a storyline that has the hospital reopening after an explosion. ABC was able to repurpose set components from the primetime spinoff General Hospital: Night Shift, which ran for two seasons on Disney-ABC cable network SOAPnet. The new set, which has 14 different pieces, “will allow the realism of General Hospital to grow bigger than it's ever been,” says Brian Frons, president of daytime for the Disney-ABC Television Group."
